Tea & Teaching at our debut Starlight Workshop!

A bright new cluster of stars are shining for Christian home school families to assist and support your academic and enrichment goals in teaching and learning starting this 2012-2013 school year!  Our introductory trio of teatime STARLIGHT WORKSHOPS this spring are designed for both the novice and veteran home schooling family.  Learn dynamic strategies to make wise, efficient, individualized, and creative choices that will establish and maintain a quality Christ-centered education for your family home school.

If you live in Southern New Jersey's Cumberland, Salem, or Gloucester Counties and home school your children - you will be very interested in attending these teacher training ENRICHMENT Starlight Workshops held at the Vineland Public Library.  Each workshop will feature a teatime setting, and open with a devotional "tea" word by CA speaker Nikkole Hollenwenger of Mercy Academy.  Visit her home school blog at Mercy, Me, and Tea by clicking on the button as you scroll down to the right.

Our debut workshop will feature two 45 minute sessions.  Session One brings Beth Robertson of Blooming Grace Academy (blog button at right) with a foundation building topic Our Call: It's All About Me, based on our CA opening post A Personal Philosophy of Education - which remains available for reading on one of our page tabs above.

Kathryn Ross, Director of Constellation Academy, asks the question:  What's Your Philosophy of Education?  as Session Two explores the need for the Christian homeschool teacher to develop a philosophy of education using Principle Approach thinking and reasoning.  Miss Kathy will introduce the various aspects of Principle Approach via the Foundation for American Christian Education, and how learning to reason Biblically creates a solid rock foundation upon which to develop the discernment, methodology, strategies, and techniques in Christ-centered academic pursuits.

Workshop participants will receive a roster of classes and services available through CA in the 2012-2013 school year which will also feature a calendar of special events and student contests that invite home school family participation and interaction.

If you are homeschooling a child between the ages of 4 and 17,
you will want to attend this workshop.

The cost is $10 per person (spouse is free) and may be paid in cash at the door.  Pre-registration is required as seating is limited.  To register, click on the contact tab and send an email to Constellation Academy with your name, phone number, and email address.

And, please do, copy and share the above flyer - we'd love to see you all for teatime and enrichment at our debut Starlight Workshop!

Shining Bright with Miss Stella
